How-To
To install aMSN SVN with Antialiasing support

aMSN is the only client for GNU/Linux that supports (almost) completely the MSN protocol of Microsoft.

The firt part of the guide explains how to install the Tcl/Tk 8.5 libraries for the antialiasing of MSN, while the second part illustrates how to install aMSN SVN.

Here is how to install the SVN version with a little and simple number of steps.

Then give thise command in the terminal, to install all the libraries:

sudo apt-get install tcl8.5 tcl8.5-dev tcl8.5-doc tk8.5 tk8.5-dev tk8.5-doc libjpeg62-dev libpng12-dev

Well we've installed all the necessary, now we must download the updated versione of aMSN SVN:

Download aMSN SVN

Extract on the Desktop the archive and with the terminal enter in the folder created:

cd /home/yourusername/Desktop/msn

And now give these command (one at time):

./configure
make
sudo make install

Good we've finished!

The updated version of aMSN SVN has been installated!!

Here you can find the plugins for aMSN (that I remember you that you must extract it and put in the folder /home/username/.amsn/plugins)
Here you can find the skins for aMSN.
